Parametric Rolling The Ad Hoc Panel on Ad Hoc Panel (#13) on Investigation of Head-Sea Parametric Rolling and Resulting Vessel and Cargo Securing Loads seeks to identify sea and vessel characteristics that initiate coupling of pitch and extreme rolling. The panel consists of four working groups as described in http://www.sname.org/committees/tech_ops/roll/home.html. Most of the work of the panel is coordinated using this Intranet. Planning Committee Planning Committee Intranet Public Policy Committee Public Policy Committee Intranet Scholarships Committee NEW Scholarships Committee Intranet Small Working Vessels The Small Working Vessel (W/V) Operations and Safety Panel O-49 addresses a broad perspective of basic issues affecting small working vessel operations and safety. These include stability letters and their effectiveness, stability training and awareness, existing stability regulations, and the application of risk analysis and assessment to these issues. This panel is an outgrowth of Ad Hoc Panel #12 on Fishing Vessel Operations and Safety with a new Sub Group on Sailing Vessels. Most of the work of the panel is coordinated using this W/V Intranet.
